Simba Sports Club is a soccer team with headquarters in Msimbazi street, Kariakoo, in the city of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania that participates in the Tanzania Mainland Premier League where it was founded in 1936, first called Eagles and later again called Dar Sunderland. In 1971, it changed its name completely and was called Simba Sport Club (which means Lion in English).

After a long wait, Simba Sports Club have finally launched the new jerseys that we will be used in all competitions in the 2022/23 League Season. The jerseys are of great quality from the way they are made in appearance
The launched jerseys are of three types as usual, ie home (red), away (white) and jersey number three (grey).
After this launch, the jerseys will start to be sold in all Vunjabei stores across the country where Simba people will go to buy for festival at Simba Day Festival 2022.

Simba football club is in the process of change by changing its legal and operational system from a member system to a public liability company known as Simba Sports Club Limited, which is made up of two parties; members owning 51 percent of the shares, of which 10 percent have been paid in full and remain 41 percent, while the investor owns 49 percent. All changes were made through an open process of announcing bids and managed by the club’s special investment committee.
