Malnutrition can lead to adverse health effects, including reduced growth, immunodeficiency, and increased risk of disease.

In the speech of President Samia Suluhu Hassan at the celebration of the Summit of the Torch of Freedom held in Manyara region, he has explained that despite the Government taking measures to combat malnutrition in the country, a lot of work is still needed to reduce the level of malnutrition and ensure that good nutrition is available to the people.
