The scholarships offer foreign graduates from development and newly industrialised countries from all disciplines and with at least two years’ professional experience the chance to take a postgraduate or Master’s degree at a state or state-recognised German university, and in exceptional cases to take a doctoral degree, and to obtain a university qualification (Master’s/PhD) in Germany.

Application requirements

1. Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree to study for a Master’s at an officially recognized University in Germany;
2. An applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a suitable field with at least upper second-class with honors or a second-class degree;
3. Admission from the German host University for the desired Master Study Programme;
4. Candidates must show strong motivation related to development, with a commitment to taking social responsibility and driving change in both their personal and professional environment after completing their studies;
5. At least two years of professional experience;
6. Passing scores (75% or above) on Quantitative proficiency Test;
7. Completed online application with all required documents;
8. Good English/German language Skills

What Are The Benefits Of The DAAD EPOS Scholarship 2025-26 In Germany?

The following are the benefits of the DAAD epos scholarship in Germany:

1. There is a monthly stipend of €934 for graduates.
2. There is a monthly stipend of €1,300 for doctoral candidates.
3. Health insurance will be provided to the successful candidates.
4. Insurance coverage for accident and personal liability will be given.
5. Travel allowance will also be given.
6. A monthly rent allowance will also be given.
7. A monthly family allowance for dependents will also be granted.

1. Completed online application with all required documents (Available on the website);
2. Proof of English Proficiency (Duolingo English Test, TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE Scores);
3. Certified copies of academic certificates and transcripts;
4. Curriculum Vitae (CV);
5. Prof of employment;
6. Recommendation letter;
7. Motivation letter; and
8. Copies of passport or passport biodata page and other documents containing information about the applicant and their current resident status

All applications must be submitted through the official DAAD website. The final deadline for submissions is December 31, 2024, at 24:00 Central European Time. It is crucial to note that any incomplete applications or those submitted via alternate channels will not be eligible for consideration.
