MbeyaOne, a dynamic and growing company, is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Sales Operations Officer to join our team in Dar es Salaam. This role is pivotal in managing and supporting our field sales team to drive the successful distribution of the Airtel Merchant Pay product.
Position: Sales Operations Officer
Location: Dar es Salaam
Reporting to: Business Operation Manager
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Performance Management:
-
Monitor and analyze sales team performance to ensure targets are met.

Develop and implement performance improvement plans for underperforming team members.

Provide regular reports and insights on sales trends and agent productivity.

Collaborate with Team Leaders to identify challenges and opportunities for sales growth.

Sales Operations & Support:
-
Ensure smooth execution of sales strategies and operational processes.
-
Track and manage sales data, customer acquisition reports, and merchant onboarding progress.

Ensure all sales processes and procedures align with company guidelines.

Training and Development:

Organize and conduct training sessions for Team Leaders and sales agents to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to improve field team effectiveness.

Ensure new sales agents are properly onboarded and equipped for success.

Field Team Coordination & Compliance:
-
Supervise and support Team Leaders in managing their teams effectively.
-
Conduct regular field visits to assess sales activities and team engagement.

Ensure sales agents follow company policies, ethical guidelines, and compliance standards.

Incentive & Motivation Management:

Develop incentive structures to drive motivation and high performance.
-
Monitor commission payouts and ensure accuracy in incentive calculations.

Recognize and reward top performers to maintain team morale.

Qualifications & Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in sales operations, performance management, or a similar role.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.

Excellent leadership and people management skills.
-
Experience in managing field sales teams and working with sales agencies.
-
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and sales tracking tools.
