Infinix officially launched its new GT 50 Pro smartphone on April 24, a device specially designed for gaming enthusiasts.
This new model comes with several upgrades, including the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset with speeds of up to 3.25 GHz. It is powered by an Octa-core CPU (1×3.25 GHz Cortex-A725 & 3×3.0 GHz Cortex-A725 & 4×2.1 GHz Cortex-A725), along with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. The phone also features a dedicated cooling system for the CPU, allowing users to play games for long periods without overheating.
In terms of RAM, the Infinix GT 50 Pro comes with a single 12GB RAM option, paired with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. This storage capacity is considered sufficient for most gamers, which is why the phone does not include a memory card slot for expandable storage.
On the camera side, the GT 50 Pro features a dual rear camera setup, with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP secondary camera, unlike last year’s model which had a larger camera setup.
For selfies and video calls, the front camera supports up to 4K video recording using its 13MP sensor.
Regarding battery performance, the Infinix GT 50 Pro comes with a Li-Ion battery capacity of either 6150mAh or 6500mAh. This large battery is expected to provide all-day usage depending on user activity.
Additionally, the phone includes several gaming-focused features such as an advanced cooling system, dedicated gaming trigger buttons, and many other enhancements aimed at improving the gaming experience.
As for pricing, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is expected to retail between TZS 1,350,000 and TZS 1,500,000.
