DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Assist the Stores Supervisor in receiving, inspecting, and recording all incoming construction  materials, equipment, and supplies.
2. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage  or loss.
3. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery and manage the return of unused  materials.

According to the Water Supply and Sanitation Act No. 5 of 2019, RUWASA is mandated to ensure rural communities in Tanzania mainland have access to clean and safe water supply services. Furthermore, RUWASA is also obligated to provide water services to specific urban areas declared by the Minister responsible for water services.

Water services in rural areas are managed and operated by Community Based Water Service Organizations (CBWSOs) under supervision of RUWASA at the District level.
