Public Announcement Prime Minister office- Tangazo la mafunzo ya Ufundi

Office of the Prime Minister – Labor, Youth Employment and the Disabled implements the National Skills Development Program enabling the National workforce to acquire skills and competencies decent work to compete in the labor market. Office has entered into agreements with various colleges to provide training vocational skills development skills and career skills for young people.

Among the training that will be provided is Creative Styles & Tailors, Plumbing, Masonry, Carpentry, Welding and Metalworking, Painting and markings, Manufacture of spare parts machinery, Automotive Automotive & Mechanical, electrical homes and factories, ICT, Automotive Electricity, Hotel and Tourism Services, Mining, Agriculture and Burnout metal alloys.

The Office would like to announce to young Tanzanians with aged between 15 to 35 who wish to join training in one of the listed professions arrive at designated colleges to take the form of apply to join the training. The government will fund the 100% training. Student / parent / guardian will cover other costs including fares going to college and back home. Training what will be provided is a day off and the applicant is advised apply for this training at a college located in the region he lives.

Centers approved by the Government to provide such training and its bearings are attached.

Mode of Application

Applications should be submitted from 04/04/2021 to 15/04/2021 accompanied by the following documents:
i. Training application letter;
ii. Copy of Birth Certificate;
iii. Copy of Certificate of Education;
iv. Citizenship ID / voter card (For 18 years and older);
v. Letter of identification from the Government Office Street / Village where the applicant lives; and
vi. Four passport photographs (marked with three names of applicant in the background).

Qualifications to join the training are:

i. Basic or higher education in the creative fields of styles and tailoring, plumbing, construction, carpentry, welding and metalworking, painting color and text markings;
ii. Form Four education and continuing education the rest included a manufacturing profession of mechanical spare parts, automotive machinery, electronics homes and factories, ICT, automotive electronics and solar power;
iii. Be a Tanzanian;
iv. Must be between 15 – 35 years old;
v. Be healthy;

Young people with disabilities are urged to apply for these opportunities and they will be given priority in the positions of this training;

Applications should be taken and submitted to existing colleges in your region that are specified in the ad
