HR World Limited on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a multi-skilled Engineer to work on both mechanical & some electrical equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
- Carry out planned maintenance programs and schedules recommending improvements where appropriate, to ensure efficiencies are maximized
- Carry out fault diagnosis and repair breakdowns promptly to ensure downtime is minimized
- Analyse line efficiency, wastage, and downtime data to identify areas for performance improvement
- Carry out all duties by safe working practices and factory hygiene standards
- Produce detailed written reports when and where required i.e. downtime sheets and line log books
- Identifying faulty equipment by consulting manufacturer’s manuals & reading detailed mechanical exploded drawings to resource and order replacement parts
- Operate machinery if required to ensure efficient manufacturing team working
- Proactive approach to production line equipment with the implementation of Continuous Improvements to driving better performance
REQUIREMENTS;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in FMCG/ Food industry
- Experience in FMCG/Food industry within a development in a maintenance/production environment
- Knowledge of product development
- Be Proactive and Self-motivated
- Strong logical thinking, good interpersonal skills, and analytical skills
- The ability to work under pressure
