CONSERVATION OFFICER II – INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY – PROGRAMMER (1 POST) RE-ADVERTISED

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research and develop technical software specifications and plans
  • Analyze user requirements and convert requirements to design documents
  • Design and develop software algorithms and flowcharts
  • Design, implement, manage and update software and database program
  • Develop, test and implement new software programs
  • Produce clean, efficient codes, based on specifications provided
  • Test, verify and deploy programs and software systems
  • Identify and recommend areas for modifications/improvements
  • Install, customize and integrate software package
  • Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software and;
  •  Performing any other related duties assigned by superior.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in either Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a relevant related field from a recognized institution with proficiency in programming languages, knowledge of database management systems, and experience in mobile application development using Xamarin Forms and Dart & Flutter.

  • AGE LIMIT: Not above 30 years.
  • REMUNERATION: Salary Scale: TNPSS E

  6.  Attaching copies of the following certificates is strictly not accepted: –

    • Testimonials and all Partial transcripts.
  7. An applicant must upload recent Passport Size Photo in the Recruitment Portal.
  8. An applicant employed in the Public Service should route his application letter through his respective employer.

  10. Certificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced level education should be verified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
  11. Professional certificates from foreign Universities and other training institutions should be
    verified by The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE).
