But the army was legally established by the Police Force Act of 1939 (THE POLICE FORCE AND AUXILIARY SERVICES ACT OF 1939) PRINCIPAL LEGISLATION. This law is in force until now, although it has been amended from time to time.

The Police Force announced various employment opportunities for young people with degrees, diplomas, form six and form four, while one of the qualifications for the applicant must be a Tanzanian citizen by birth.

Fields required for each level of education include nursing, pharmacy, marine engineers, computers, music, land surveyors, sports management and administration.
