NACTE student verification results 2022. The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) is a corporate body established by the National Council for Technical Education Act, 1997 (Act No. 9 of 1997). The Act provides a legal framework for the Council to coordinate provision of technical education and training and establish an efficient national qualifications system that will ensure that products from technical institutions are of high quality and respond to changing needs as well as technological innovations in the world.
NACTE student verification results 2022
The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) informs the public that the results of the evaluation of the qualifications of applicants for various programs in the first phase in Colleges of Education and Vocational Training for the Academic Year 2022/2023 were officially released on 24 September, 2022.
Applications for academic positions for the year 2022/2023 began on May 24, 2022 until August 30, 2022. Applicants for Diploma and Diploma courses applied for admission to various Universities in Tanzania Mainland and Islands. Colleges receive applications and select applicants based on the merits of the programs offered by those colleges.
A total of 61,106 applicants from 237 Universities were selected to join various programs and submitted to NACTVET for verification of qualifications to join studies. Among them, 57,108 applicants (93.5%) met the criteria to join the various programs offered by the Universities. Among those qualified applicants, women are 29,039 (47.5%) and men are 28,069 (46.0%).
A total of 1,762 applicants (2.9%) did not meet the admission criteria to study the programs they chose – among them 1,087 (1.8%) women and 675 (1.1%) men. A total of 2,236 applicants (3.3%) did not submit their information fully and lacked the qualifications to be selected. All applicants submitted for review have been sent a message and a code (code) via phone and e-mails submitted by the Colleges at the time of application. The code will be used to verify their admission and qualifications in the courses chosen by the Colleges through the NACTVET website (www.nacte.go.tz) – by clicking on the “Verification results 2022” button.
Applicants who have been verified and found to not meet the criteria in the programs they applied for are advised to re-apply for the second phase that will begin on October 24 to 03, 2022 directly at the Colleges according to the criteria in the relevant program. The Council advises those who did not apply in the first phase to do so in the second phase.
In addition, the names of the applicants who will be selected in the second phase will be submitted to NACTVET for review from September 30 to October 8, 2022. The results of the review will be released by October 17, 2022. Studies for those selected will officially begin on October 18, 2022.
