Bei ya mafuta september 2023, Bei ya mafuta ya petrol leo 2023, The Energy and Water Services Regulatory Authority (EWURA) has announced the price limit for petroleum products in this country that will be used starting today, Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 6:01 p.m.
Dr. James A. Mwainyekule who is the Director General of EWURA has explained that, for the month of September 2023, the retail prices of fuel in the Dar es Salaam region in terms of Petrol per liter is 3,213 shillings while Diesel is 3,259 shillings per liter and kerosene per liter is 2,943 shillings.
In addition, the price for Tanga Region is 3,259 shillings for petrol per liter, 3,305 shillings for diesel and 2,989 shillings for kerosene per liter.
Also, in the Mtwara region, petrol is sold for 3,285 shillings per liter while diesel is sold for 3,332 shillings and kerosene for 3,016 shillings per liter.
The Director General of EWURA has noted that the change in oil prices for the month of September 2023 is due to the increase in the cost of oil in the world market by up to 21 percent.
