Position: Warehouse Supervisors (5)
Location: Dar Es Salaam
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient utilization of space and resources.
- Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to achieve performance goals.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to track and manage stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock audits and coordinate with relevant teams to reconcile discrepancies.
- Enforce quality standards for incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Promote and enforce safety protocols within the warehouse, adhering to Tanzanian occupational health and safety regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
Qualifications:
- Male candidates are preferred.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; additional education or certifications in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar role.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes.
- Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects, as well as standing for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
