Position: Export Documentation Officer (3)
Location: Dar Es Salaam
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Generate and review export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin, to ensure accuracy and compliance with international regulations.
- Stay updated on Tanzanian and international customs regulations to ensure all export activities adhere to legal requirements.
- Collaborate with customs officials and freight forwarders to resolve any issues related to documentation or shipment clearance.
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to gather necessary information for documentation.
- Communicate with international customers and authorities to address inquiries and resolve documentation-related issues.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all export documentation, ensuring accessibility for audits and reference.
- Conduct regular audits of export documents to identify and rectify errors, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of each shipment.
Qualifications:
- Female candidates are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transport management, or a related field. • Proven experience in export documentation and customs procedures.
- Familiarity with Tanzanian and international trade regulations.
- Not more than 30 years of age.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
